He has contributed to more than 40 film productions and series including Suicide Squad, House of Cards, Altered Carbon and currently starring in Amazon’s series Hanna based on the 2011 film of the same name. In addition to an edgy and prolific acting career, Joel also acts as a true “ambassador” for Swedish values in the world. He acts as a passionate advocate and ambassador for abused and exploited women and children through ECPAT Sweden, which was born from that World Congress initiated by Sweden. With local roots and global reach, Joel is the essence of what it means to be a Swede in the world.
